Challenge

How can Hitachi Construction Machinery create more value from miners’ sustainability measures through new models like “carbon credit-as-a-service” and “energy-as-a-service”?

Introduction

Sustainability is now a core driver of innovation in mining. We are looking for solutions that help miners reduce emissions, manage energy more efficiently, and turn ESG efforts into measurable business value. Through new service models and digital platforms, we aim to support the transition to low-carbon, circular mining.

Context

As ESG regulations tighten and carbon markets grow, mining companies must rethink how they manage energy, emissions, and land use. By enabling this shift, we help miners lead in responsible resource development.
